Lumens VR, brought to you by Video Phase, explores the synesthetic link between the musical and visual realms, bringing one to reflect upon the relation between man and machine, in a world where the real and the virtual meld and coalesce.
Two musicians enclosed in a giant cube generate through their musical performance a multitude of luminescent cubes that create music as they come into contact with other virtual objects, as if in a lifesize video game.
An improbable hypnotic choreography ensues, where sight and sound fuse into each other, and where the performers try desperately to escape from the imposed constraints of the machine.
